Corporate Headshots On Location
and how to organize them!
Organizing a headshot session for your staff employees in your office can be a great way to enhance your company's professional image. Here are some steps to help you organize a successful headshot session:
1. Call me, Annett Meyer Photography, because I am specialized in headshot photography and have experience in capturing corporate headshots. Check my reviews on google or reach out to companies I worked with before. Be ready to discuss your requirements and budget with me before finalizing the booking.
2. Plan and Schedule: Determine a suitable date and time for the headshot session. Consider the availability of your staff members and choose a time when everyone can participate without disrupting their work schedules.
3. Communicate: Send out a company-wide email or announcement to inform your employees about the upcoming headshot session. Clearly explain the purpose, date, time, and location of the session. Encourage your employees to come prepared and dress professionally.
4. Set Up a Suitable Location: Identify a suitable space within your office where the headshot session can take place. Involve me as your photographer to make sure the place is big enough and has all requirements needed. You don’t need to worry about light etc. - that’s my job.
5. Prepare the Staff: Advise your employees to dress professionally and suggest any specific guidelines related to attire or appearance. Encourage them to bring any necessary touch-up items like makeup or grooming tools. Remind them to arrive on time for their scheduled session to ensure a smooth flow. I will provide certain material and information you can send to your employees to make sure they are camera ready when they arrive at the headshot event.
6. Create a Schedule: Work with me to create a schedule that allows each employee to have their headshot taken within a designated time slot. This will help manage the flow of the session and minimize waiting time for employees. We can use your company’s system or my own schedule software.
7. Provide Guidance: Communicate with me about the desired style and tone of the headshots. Provide examples or reference images if necessary.
8. Retouching and Delivery: You will be happy to hear that retouching is in my pricing included. My turnaround times are quick. You get the images in an online gallery to download to your computer.
9. Employee Engagement: Consider making the headshot session a fun and engaging experience for your employees. Offer refreshments, create a relaxed atmosphere, and encourage positive interactions. This will help create a positive company culture and make the experience more enjoyable for everyone involved.
10. Utilize the Headshots: Once the headshots are delivered, encourage your employees to update their professional profiles, such as LinkedIn or the company website, with their new headshots. You can also use the headshots for internal purposes, such as employee directories or promotional materials.
Remember, organizing a headshot session is not only about capturing professional images but also about creating a positive and engaging experience for your employees. By following these steps, you can ensure a successful headshot session that reflects the professionalism and brand image of your company.
